ABOUT
Canadian wood artist, Erik Fait, has carving experience stretching back over 30 years.
Erik’s early inspiration came from his father, who grew up working with wood in Norway. This inherited craftsmanship, coupled with his Norwegian heritage, inspired Erik to pursue traditional carving techniques and he spent eleven years living and working in Norway to further his skills. The years in Norway greatly influenced Erik's talent and expertise, instilling in him a life-long passion for Viking and early medieval carving styles.
The culmination of Erik’s cultural heritage and nurtured skills is evident in his work - unique, contemporary, custom pieces that are distinctly Erik Fait.
